Which Hard Disk use?

I use Maxtor and I don't have your problems... unlucky? :)

um my computer is a Dell laptop so im assuming its a dell hard drive as well.you are talking about the hard drive right? lord knows i certainly know nothing of computers innards so a hard disk could be something and id never know lol. my hard drive has had to be replaced THREE times in two years because of crashing and other problems. i should work for dell after all the things ive had to fix and replace on my computer lol. Were you able to save any of the data on your various hard disks? if so how did you do it? everytime mine crashed i lost so much.

i use western digital raptor 10.000rpm. i never had problem ;)

i use seagate, I am happy to say since past two years i haven't changed my hard disk..I would prefer you totake seagate hard drive instead of samsung

I also have similar experience with maxtor. samsung rocks. it gives 3 years warranty plus good service.

Come to think of it, its a very difficult question for me I m using Acer lap top..that I know ..but which type or brand of hard disk is inside I dont have ne information...the manual is also not handy right now..

I use maxtor! In this years only one maxtor hdd sata 160 gb has crashed for me and I have others 4 hdd maxtor, 3 ide and 1 sata! Bye!

Umh... mine is ST380011A (80 GB) I always use seagate baracuda. wehehehe Hope I ll have 120giga ^^

I'm current using a Seagate 160GB SATA HD after my old (2 years) Western Digital 40GB ATA HD started to make a lot more noise and more data on it was getting corrupt.

i bought Western Digital's 80GB 8mb Cache SATAII hard disk... and it work's fine with me
