do you think people make up shocking questions to get mroe responses?

after reading some of the hot topics today I HOPE that people are making things up just to get more responses. Do you think people on here do that? If so, its really sad. But then if what i read was true it was sick and sad as well.

I`m starting to see more and more discussions that are sort of stupid... and also if you try to do something funny or try to post something interesting there some few people that are rude and this has started to be a problem...

I think people make up absurd things to get attention. I am sure they do that in their offline lives as well.

Of course they are - or some really do live disgusting and immoral lives.
