How do you react...when someone is making fun of you?

I think it depends on the situation -- is it in private or public. Usually I just pity the person who's making fun. if their self-esteem is so low that they have to make fun of others to feel better about themselves, I feel sorry for them.

I would confront them and ask them why are they picking on me?and ask is there a problem what have i done. i dont think i could just ignore it because i feel if i ignore it they might keep it going and do it again

i tend to join in, it works two ways first it makes the person making fun of you stop because they feel stupid and two because i think being able to laugh at yourself is good for you
