I just started my collection last year, but I already have several because they are fairly inexpensive collectibles. I especially like the Russian eggs that have people painted on them.

No, I am not a collector of decorative eggs but I think that would be a really nice thing to collect. Where do find them to buy, on the internet?

I've bought all of mine on ebay, but I would imagine other places sell them. I think they're so cute, and like I said, they aren't very expensive. I have one that's dressed in the stars and stripes, and another vintage on with the hammer and sickle of the USSR. Thanks for responding.

I don't collect them, but find them absolutely gorgeous. How many do you have? Are they chicken eggs, or other poulty eggs as well? I have painted on chicken eggs. It is not an easy task, as it is not flat and so delicate.

My name is Alan W Rabon. I am a Master Eggshell Carver/Sculptor. You can see some of my egg artwork at I have been carving eggs for almost twelve years now. I sell and ship my eggshell artwork all over the world. Take a look and see if you like my artwork! I have many friends who are decorative egg artists.
