I need an unbioused opinion about who is the best of these two crickters, not only in terms of hitting sixes but also in terms of cricketing attitude? Looking forward to have some sharp replies....

I definitely feel that Adam Gilchrist is more superior than M S Dhoni and better player than Dhoni considering that Dhoni can play well only in India and only in batting tracks which was proven well in the failure of his in world cup while adam gilchrist has proven that he is the better batsman by playing well against any team and any where and any bowler.

Hey friend, Please don't compare Gilchrist to Dhonni. He is no way nearer to him. Gilchrist is a very good keeper c$um batsman. He is a legend and Dhoni can never be compared with him. Just recollect the game he played against Srilanka. All good batsmans including sachin was feared about Muralidharan but Gilchrist din't consider him as an bowler.

It is too early to compare between these two as dhoni is a new comer and adam is playing for australis for nearly a decade now. adam gilchrist is really a very good batsmen and plays as good as any other batsmen in the world , he is a matured as a player and played against every team in the world and proved he is one of the best players alltime, while dhoni is a new comer and he needs time to establish himself to the world cricket , have you ever watched that dhoni plays good cricket only when he is in the subcontinent and when goes overseas he doesnt play as good as he plays in the subcontinent. so in my opinion it's too early to decide and dhoni certainly needs some time.

Dont compare Dhoni with Gil. Adam Gilchrist is the best. He can play any kind of shot, he is a complete matured batsman. And even when u consider keeping, Gilly does better job than Dhoni. One thing that I liked in Dhoni is his ability to repond to situations. He can also keep his head cool if needed. But i havent seen Gilly playing like that.

in my poinion its Adam Gilchrist. He has proved his batting abilities in any part of world cricket .also it should b noted that Dhoni is just a new comer as compared with Gilchrist.Adam is supreme in wicket keeping also.

Its without doubt Gilchrist will win anytime over Dhoni simply because he is far more destructive than Dhoni. Gilchrist is so intimidating that bowlers fear to bowl to him, whereas Dhoni has still not got that kind of respect from the bowlers around the world. And also Gilchrist steps up a notch when it comes to crucial matches. He has scored matchwinning fifties in 99 and 2003 world cup final and also a magnificent century in the 2007 world cup finals.

there is no need of any thought. it is obviously gilchrist who is the best one. dhoni is just a baby in front of gilchrist although he has made some good ones but its farto be compared with dhoni. gilchrist is a well established cosmopolitan player who has proved himself the best aginst all the teams. not only is he a good wicket-keeper but a excellent batsman. for dhoni, he is a newcomer who uses a lot of power to get a single shot while gilchrist is one who uses his skills to get a good shot done. and it is always the man of brains and skills who does a better job.

dhoni is a good batsmen thats all... he is famous for sixes thats wt every one noes abt him that too for the past one year. but gilchrist has been there for a long time, does not critisise anyone (upto my knowledge). and he walks away if he noes he is out..but i have not seen dhoni doing that may be he didint get a chance to act that way... as off now dhoni cannot be compared with gilchrist...
