yes true , but they have to cater for a certain passuer of women , and also its about the design , keep it femine and petite , unless you wish to work in a industry that caters for a different market then the fashion precident takes on a different concept.

ofcoarse, have you ever seen a fat coathanger? its all about making the clothes look the best, and in todays world thin is the ultimate ideal, and also a tall thin model with beautiful long legs creates nice lines in the clothes and ultimately compliments the lines in the clothing and the image they create..i dont think the fashion industry will shy away from the model stereotype, but thats not to say that they like the anorexic 'too thin' models, they are starting to put restrictions on unhealthy models but they will always like the tall slim long limbed ideal..the lucky ones are the models who are like this naturally and can maintain this figure without being unhealthy, its not to say they have to be emaciated, they can still be a healthier weight with this body type, but the industry exemplifies perfection so ofcoarse some models are going to become obsessed with the way they look, afterall its their industry, and their job to look this way
