I can't help but feel weird when strangers ask me for money....

Am I the only one? I hate when I am walking to my car after shopping and strangers stop and ask for bus fair or change for something. It makes me nervous. I do not know who they are. I do want to help people but it makes me feel uneasy. When I see homeless people begging for money I feel the same way. Am I the only one?

I often see people begging on the streets, but thankfully I've never been approached by anyone while on my own. I don't usually give to people begging. I prefer to give to charities that I trust.
