Have you ever felt "stuck" in life?

I had currently been snowed in a house with my family in Colorado as a visitor from California. I have never felt so stuck in my life before, actually closterphobic like I can't breathe, like I can't do anything to find a break for 6 days now. I feel stuck financially as well I cant seem to move forward yet while looking for some solid employment. I feel this way also because my only form of verbal communication has been shut off as well, my cell- phone. Have you ever felt this "stuck". Life goes in very interesting directions some times.

I completely understand, it sucks sometimes. Usually when Im not snowed in and Im feeling that way I go for a walk somewhere really pretty for about an hour. I usually get more accomplished that way. Good luck!

i think everybody ever felt stuck in their life before.i do too.you wont have any idea of how i've been struggling to live in such of low economic life and high financial problem.sometimes i even feel so desperate.but i always encourage my self that life is not that difficult, its depent on my patience and my hard work.i never stop trying and thinking and working harder and harder because i think as long as i still capable on looking and doing i will never stop do it, and i also always believe that God never ever leave me specially in bad condition.actually God is the one who give me streng to survive until now and my prayer finally becaming reality bit by bit.so dont u ever give up no matter u think u are deeply stuck:)

Yes, I am currently "stuck" in a city I don't want to be in, with a person I don't want to be with, so I know how you feel. My finances have been low, and I've been unable to move. I don't want to be here, I want to go home where my friends and family are. I trusted someone who turned out not worthy of my trust, now I'm stuck here until I can leave.

Okay man, the question shouldnt be are you stuck... the question should be how do you get unstuck? I have some answers, you need to make changes in your life, this is how to get unstuck. Then the next thought is, what is keeping you from embracing change? we all have excuses not to change. now you have to put those obstacles out of your mind and MOVE FORWARD, not back... know you need to change, and then change. dont prevent yourself.

so tell me how do you change a blizzard and being trapped in a house for atleast 2 days straight with no fresh air and a 4 year old, and getting fat ? How do I get unstuck? I like your positive go getter attitude though.

I know how you feel. At my in laws place I am not allowed even to stand near a window for air and can not venture out at all. Once it was so hot inside the house everyone went out for the fresh air but I was left out. No one asked me and no one invited me and I didn't dare go out so I really felt like crying that day. That was the day I opened up the windows of the house for myself for the first time. Now I do open up the windows when I feel hot nothing more than tat. But its really bad to get stuck like that. I hate going to their place for this only reason.

Wow way to go..just open up those windows show your enpowerment. People can be very controlling sometimes, but it turns people like us running in the opposite direction sometimes.

Yah i do, it was the time when i am a newly graduate and applying for job that it takes for almost half a year coz most of the employer i encounter needs staff with most experience which i have none. then i stopped applying until time came so fast to realize it was my almost a year at house just helping my father and mother and it feels so boring and useless. i feel i'm stuck in life and doing nothing for my future. and then as my parents advise i strive again and as like before it takes me half a year to find a new job and then until now i'm keeping it. Thanks to feel that now i'm helpful to my love ones. (,")

Yea, I am stuck right now. I have had an accident and got my femur fractured. Got operated. So I stay mostly in house during recovery. On crutches. Life sometimes look so slow and dull but since I am staying with my family.. Its not all that bad.

my emotions in life are closely related to my work n work environment. If i am struck with coding or anything technical, i feel tht i am just just a another jerk.. but if i am able to do something complex coding successfully, i feel on top of the world that day..

Yeah I has been stuck before in much the same way. I'm not snowed in but I am seeking solid employment myself and every time that I find a job that I can do and like something stupid happens and I get fired within the first two weeks which doesn't even make a blip on your resume but it does extend the recent period of unemployment if you don't mention it and looks bad if you do add two jobs you got fired from in two weeks flat. Stuck and feeling foolish is a common feeling among people. And it happens to us all. Keep your head up, you'll be just fine.

I have been there many times in my life before. It does make for an interesting life. It can become Very claustiphobic if you do not have things to do to keep you busy. We lost Power here for about 2 days, and then I was without Internet for 5 days so I was feeling lost. I could not post on here or nothing as well either. But all you can do about your current situation is Pray and Trust God to see you thru. Find a way to get yourself out of this rut, and get back on your feet again. That is all you can ask.

It probably happens with almost everyone of us in some part of life or the other as a matter of fact the basic reason for this is not us trying to getting out of our comfort zone as the newtons rule suggest a body if stuck will remail stuck only our mind can be the motivational force for us to get out of this misery..... so dont let your mind to get constricted to same oldways try out new things and bingo you will have better things in life
