DOGS-pets or guards

Dogs as pets are both as a friend and as a security guard. Actually dog is a friend in need and thus a good friend. Manny people leep dogs for safety, they are a good security guard also loyal and obedient.But at same time we must consider that they are living creatures and have emotions and should behave properly and with love with them.

i think people want to feel superior.

I think they are a bit both. pets-because most people love them and care for them much. guards-they keep these to offend the enemies,animals,robbers or thieves.
