do you always wear underwear?

Ladies, do you always wear some sort of underwear? I have a coworker who doesn't wear underwear, basically ever. I think even when she's on her period she doesn't wear underwear because she wears tampons. And she doesn't wash her work pants after each use, she wears the same pair for like a week. The other day, my manager was being nosy and wanted to see what size of pants she had, because she had left her dirty work pants at work instead of bringing them home. Anyway, there was lots of white crusty stuff inside the crotch of the pants! Nasty! I just can't imagine NOT wearing underwear on a regular basis! Someone tell me how its possible to do this! How can you deal with all the "activity" that goes on throughough the day? Doesn't it feel gross?

I always wear underwear except to bed. I have heard from doctors even that it is healtier not to wear them because it keeps it from getting as warm and moist down there which can be the cause of infection. I personally think it's uncomfortable not to wear them regardless of teh health advantages.

why only ask for ladies

I asked only the ladies because it seems grosser for me for a girl to not wear underwear than a guy. Guys would just have to worry about sweat, but girls are pretty moist down there, and it can get pretty gross if you don't wear underwear.

Sure, men can answer as well, but I directed it more towards the ladies because we tend to have moistness issues with down there, and its a bit of a different situation then men who don't wear underwear. But I don't mind hearing men's opinions as well. I was more just wondering if lots of girls don't wear underwear and I just wasn't aware of it.

Yes I do wear underwear always, except when I was pregnant I only wore pajamas to sleep because my body feels so warm, you know pregnant women do weird things. Anyways, your coworker is so gross, imagine wearing a dirty pair of pants, didn't she realize how much bacteria she'll get from the dried up discharge on her pants?

And the gross thing is that she leaves the pants AT work, and changes into them when she gets there. So they're just hanging there in the staff washroom out in the open. I don't know how she isn't completely embarrassed that maybe they'll fall off the hook and someone will see the crustiness inside! I'd be mortified if that was me!

Oh my god, we didn't tell her! How would you bring something like that up to someone? "So uhh.... noticed you've got some nasty crustiness inside your pants from lack of underwear...whats up with that?" Its just totally not something I would feel comfortable bringing up with her. If she were to talk to me first about her not wearing underwear, I would be able to tell her my opinion of how gross it is, but i just can't come out and bring up the topic with her. Its awkward!

I really don't want to ask *lol* I'm sure she HAS underwear, just chooses not to wear it, so I think in that case, she would probably wear the underwear.

I will go without underwear while I am sleeping or if I am at home all day hanbging around in my PJs. If I am going anywhere out of the house, I wear underwear. I could not go to work w/o underwear, that is just gross. I think some people feel more comfortable with out. I wear jeans to work and I don't think that would be very comfortable. Every woman has different amount of discharge so if she doesn't have alot, then going without underwear may not bother her. However, if you go with out underwear, you should wash your pants daily. How does she go a whole week and she doesn't smell?

OMG, i cant imagine myself doing that. Just thinking of it makes me feel uncomfortable. And wearing same pants without washing them, without the undies, oh its yucky. but then again, we are different from each other and others might feel comfy without it so its there choice really but i just cant imagine myself in that situation.

I was actually curious if woman actually don't wear underwear with certain outfits. It seems like a neat idea if you're "expecting" I'd suppose.

Yeah, I can see it being okay if you were wearing a skirt out on a date, and wanted to tell your man in the evening that you aren't wearing panties as a turn on...

I know! I just can't imagine what her boyfriend must think! I personally think its disgusting, and my boss who was the one who looked at her pants was just horrified! I'm pretty grossed out that she had to show it to me too, so now I have to be aware of this situation. Its really not something you just forget about someone. Blech!

It is actually not good for you to not wear them. Also with what your co-worker does that is not sanitary. She is able to get yeast infection from using the same underwear pants everyday and not washing them. It is not right. Gross!
