One way is to be continually in a state of awareness. There are many things we do during the day which can be done by having awareness in the Third Eye. It is not practical to be in a state of meditation when involved in daily tasks. But that state of stillness and centredness can be practiced all the time. Quietening the mind takes allot of diligence and practice. One can never quieten the mind with the mind, it is a useless undertaking. No doubt you know this! Meditation is best done in a repetitive manner, ie at the same time for similar periods of time each day. That way the physical body also gets used to it, and actually will look for it. The mind will go through phases of being quiet or restless. During those restless times, just keep going. Even if you felt your meditation was a waste of time. Even in the restlessness there is something to see. Do you use your Third Eye as a central focus? What helps you go further inward?
