does gandhiji deserves nobel prize for peace?

gandhiji deserves nobel prize for peace ;as he alone led a non bloody war against his enimies ,with crores of people behind him.finally he won to conquer his enimies withot dropping a single drop of blood.what do you think about it?

he definitely doesnt deserve nething...its due 2 him tht v got freedom so late..if he wud have allowed the extremists ..its wud have been much faster ..in fact v got independence only bcause of USA - Winston Churchil ..he pressurized Britain to give India freedom bcause USA was a democrtaic country and cud not annexxe ne colonies..so it thought of putting a stop 2 britain's colonialism also ..bcause if britain didnt stop then britain wud b bcome more powerful then USA ! This is the reason y v got freedom and not our dear GANDHI !!!

if Nobel Peace prize was awarded in Gandhiji's Life time , he would have surely rejected ! Although he deserves it , it is not required now [ He was assassinated in 1948 (58 years ago) ] ...

yaa he is the person who says non violence and he is the only man for the peace and won the independence with peace by making peace as his sword and went and defeated and got the independence so he may deserve in getting the noble prize for peace

yes!for sure he deserves it,he has given his life for the country.he has choosen non-violence and truth as his best weapons to fight with against the british rule without bloodless revolution &peaceful battle.
