Do you consider realistic the crimes and the investigations on CSI?? You like something harder than CSI or is it too dramatic??

Well, the crimes can become realistic as though they were made for cinematic purposes. The tests they do are actually being done. Though it is not usually done on every crime because the cost is too high. Example, DNA testing - here in the Philippines DNA testing is not usually done because of the high cost of performing DNA testing/fingerprinting.

The show glamourizes some of the crime investigations but I think that much of it is still based on reality

There are plenty of books that explain the processes that a real CSI team would take. On the TV shows, they place some truth in the investigative parts; however it is more dramatized for the show than it is reality. They also really dramatize (fake?) the timelines in discovery. It takes a LOT longer than a few minutes to run a DNA, much less compare it to several other new samples.
