How Did the Fish Get in the Egg ???

Did anyone see the article in yesterday´s paper about the 3 little fish found in the bird egg? They´re trying to find out how they got in there. I think there´s only one way. The egg must have been slightly damaged & the baby fish swam in then grey & the egg closed over.

The people who found it didn't happen to own a pet-shop did they?
