Every time I eat anything with tomato sauce I get really sick

Hi ..anyone know what causes this..After I eat pizza, have tomato soup or eat spaghetti or anything with tomato sauce my stomach gets extemely upset.. I get the diarrhea and seems like it never ends..Is this due to an allergy or do ou think it may be I have an ulcer?

I would go see a doctor, may have some type of reaction to acidic foods. I doubt there are doctors on here to diagnose you and even if there are doctors on here they probably wouldn't want to give a diagnosis just based on symptons.

There may not be doctors on here..but surely with the more than 48,000 people here..there may be some who have the same condition and have advice..why pay for something that can be cured without medicine?+

I think your stomach easily reacts with acidic substances. You might be acidic but i don't think it's ulcer. I used to be acidic about 5 years ago, the doctor told me to avoid acidic and sour food, and I used to take antacids for weeks........I like foods with tomato specially pasta.

Thanks for the very good advice..this too happens when I drink too much orange juice or eat citrus fruits..so perhaps the acidity:)+

Sound like you are alleric to it. Has it always been like this you should ask your doctor. I would'nt eat it, if It has that affect in me. just like milk doesn't agree with me.

Are you allergic to tomato sauce? Maybe that is the problem that you are having with it. You may want to talk to your doctor to find out so you know for sure what is wrong. Everybody is allergic to different things so I am guessing that might be it but consult your doctor.

First quit eating the stuff. Then go to your doctor and tell him all about it. thats if you still want to eat tomato sauce. if not dont worry about it.

i would try to but baking soda just bit in when cooking the tomato based things this helps my husband.
