Blokes who do the ironing

Am I the only bloke who does the ironing? Surely there must be others out there. Should I do the ironing? In todays society, how are people dividing up the household tasks?

For ironing, glad we don't iron our clothes anymore. We don't even have an iron to be honest with you. I just dry them well on our washer, saves time. And don't have problems with it.

I'm shocked! No body is ironing any more - only me! Actualy irons use up loads of electricity so that's a very environmental (if slightly scruffy) stance - well done everyone!

My dad used to do all his own ironing and some of the kids when we were growing up. Now he doesn't iron that much anymore but then again most things don't need ironing as much. Different material, different style clothes, it makes a difference.

If it's a fair thing, perhaps take turns, or send the ironing out, you'll have to pay for that

I think I would rather do the ironing than pay someone... perhaps I should think about charging other people for ironing!!

If my husband really needs something ironed at that moment and I am too busy with the kids or something he will do it himself, or if he doesnt like the way I did it, he will, lol hes strange about his clothes sometimes

How about your stuff, will he do that too? My wife likes the way I iron awkward shaped clothes ('fitted' stuff is a bit of a challenge)

Should anyone do the ironing?! I can't remember the last time I ironed something. Mostly if you dry things right you don't need to. Ironing is a waste of life if you ask me!

ha ha good point.... I like laundered clothes on occasions... I like to see them all looking neat hanging in my wardrobe, even if I'm wearing something scruffy, guess I'm just odd that way.
