If you lie to a child about Santa do you have the right to be upset if they lie?

To me a lie is a lie no matter how you try to sugercoat it in tradition. I feel if you lie to your kids about Santa, the easter bunny, the tooth fairy or any of the other things you lie to kids about because you think it's fun for them or because it's tradition, you don't have the right to get upset at those kids when they lie to you. What do you think?

Santa is not a lie. He is St. Nicholas who has been distributing gifts to poor children. It is Santa who brings nice toys to children for Christmas, but through an agent appointed by him.
It is similar to God helping people. Do you consider it a lie. When you drive a car and you stop and avoid an accident you thank God. Not the producer or mechanic of the vehicle. Similary the credit for the toys that the children get can be given to Santa.
