Hey i prefer Bluetooth as compared to Infrared. The reason is simple,in Infra red tthe objects should bbe close to each other,i.e.should be touching eachother, but in bluetooth the devices are not required that the should be conected to each other ,they can be transfered from a distance.

blue - tooth
Nope. You'll need a bluetooth dongle for your laptop so it can connect with your phone's bluetooth. Infrared and bluetooth are not compatible with each other. I prefer blutetooth.

infared - you have to have your phone and the infared port on your pc in a direct line of sight. inconvenient as the connection will drop if your phone moves a fraction of an inch. bluetooth - secure, as you generate your own pin number which your phone must accept before it is allowed to share any information. as to how to add Bluetooth - get a bluetooth dongle. it attaches to the usb port of your pc.

i usually prefer bluetooth.because it is more advanced, range is more, and there is no problem of losing the signal easily, whereas in case of infrared,u may lose the signal if the device is moved by mistake.

Of course I prefer bluetooth because the range is wider and the data is transfered quicker.

I prefer bluetooth because it does not need to be in a fixed position or no wires.

I prefer bluetooth. When the software is setup properly, there will be no hassle on data exchange between twoo clients. Plus, infrared disconnect more than bluetooth do.

i prefer bluetooth because of it's range. though infrared is quite faster than bluetooth it's hard to maintain connection in an infrared. but bluetooth is getting faster though.

Bluetooth of course. Faster. More reliable. Convenient to use. Unlike infrared. I think Infrared has phased out already.
