I am Indonesian, I do my job in US since last year. Once, two guys (well dressed) knocked my flat door. When i opened they excused to explain something to me. Then I welcame them. They explained a lot of things, i heard it was about mormon. Then they gave me a Bible of Mormon. They asked me to visit a mormon church near my stay (around Broad and Jackson St, Shouth Philadelphia). I am a bit curious. Is this really a new religion?

It's not a new religion but more of an extension branch of Christianity. Mormons follow the book of Mormon which was writting a couple of hundred years ago. Basically the prophet that wrote the book was shown what to put in there by God and it deals with Jesus' time here in the New World between the age of 12 and 30, the part that is not in the standard bible.
They do believe in supporting each other, in giving to the church, they are strict about such things as gambling, drinking, etc. In the past Mormons did believe in polygamy but the US only allows you to be married to one person at a time.
My knowledge on Mormons is limited by I do know that much. Hope it helps.
