What makes you like the fifth element so much?

One of the things I like most about it is its Pagan theme. Really, I don't think many people realize that it's got such a strong nature-centered theme. For one thing, the four elements correspond to those in Paganism (earth, air, water, fire), and Leeloo is supposed to be the Fifth Element -- the "supreme being." She stands in the center at the end of the movie. This is very similar to the fifth element in Paganism, Akasha or spirit... Any other thoughts?

When I was younger my main draw to the film was the pretty much naked girl section...heh...however the movie is just a fun time with action and adventure and I don't see it as having too much deep intellectual meaning behind it though it does slide those emotional thoughtful elements ino the story....ultimatly it was made to entertain and it does so successfully

What I love most about the movies is how great it is when you consider that it's made outside Hollywod by Luc Besson. Amazing movie... Never considered the pagan theme though :-)

I imagine that being made outside Hollywood is an advantage. LOL! I guess you wouldn't consider the Pagan theme unless you knew more about it... it jumped right out at me because of my background. *g*

Fifth Element - this movie had so many things to pay attention to. Kinda neat to watch for the diferent elements each time
Guess I an naturally earthy and those element seemed so obvious to me that they are at the center of everything. Though people try to distance themselves they always seem to try and get back to nature even if it is just for a visit. We watch it and I like the futuristic shower, laundry, transportation. The bad guy is just tooo funny for me too. The singer was sooo great also. She was so unique!

It's the quirky comedy. Bruce willis is just so good at that. I can't get enough of it. The more I watch it, the more I love it. Of course the entire cast works off of each other extremely well. Chris Tucker is a riot! Naturally, I like the SCI Fi element. That just adds fun to the mix.

i think the movie is good combination of graphics and acting and also story line it. it has given all it need to make u feel that u r 300 years in the future when u see the cars flying from the building and also resturants in ships which flies in the air. and big space ships and contacts with the aliens and people from different planets which cooperates to save the world and also in all this future running lilu who is still from old age and is so innocent and is crying by seeing the pictures of the war. all this combination is really good and still the movie is one of the best movies i have ever seen...
