If I can't understand your topic then how can I respond?

I came across several topics today that made absolutely no sense to me today. I tried really hard to be patient, and take my time to understand them. However, there was no sense to be made of it. I came across one that just said "Girl" what about it? I don't get it! At least add some words to it so we can have an idea of what you are talking about. Please. Anyone else come across this, or am I the only one having problems with it? Thanks for the response.

If you cannot understand the topic, you better proceed to other topic rather than giving some absurd responses.

I don't give absurd responses. I simply just get frustrated, and I do move on to another topic. My point is simply that more detail should be given so we understand what the topic is about. Thanks for the response.

I hit the ( - ) sign and proceed but if totally nonsense I report as spam, don't just assume you don't get it, if a few members report it, it will be deleted , let the admin be the judge and help preserving the quality of the site.

There is no assuming...I honestly don't get it. As I stated in the beginning of the discussion. There was one I came across the other day that was labeled "girl" there was no other words or description at all. What about "girl"? Do you understand what I am talking about now? Thanks for responding.

I hate discussions like that! They really annoy me, and I'm kind of sad that some of the discussions are so pointless, as well as some of the comments on mosts discussion.

I'm not saying I am more intellegent. That was not my intention at all in this discussion. I am sorry if it came across that way to you. I believe they are intellegent and just trying to find a way to make quick money.

Sometimes it's simply because the poster's English isn't that good, in which case I just move on to the next topic. However, sometimes it's really obvious that the poster is just trying to make lots of money, in which case I report them.

Those are the ones I am talking about. I understand that some do not speak good english and I give those the benefit of the doubt. I am going to start reporting the others though. Thanks for responding.

just report them as they are breaking the rules if they get their post removed then they get less money if they get banned then they get no money either way non-breakers end up with more money it IS worth reporting all the idiots and rule breakers somethimes i only make about 10 posts but report about 20 posts and make over 50 cents for that day

That is great! Yes, I will start taking the time to report those posts. I usually just overlook them and find a good discussion. However, you are right. It is worth taking the time so that hopefully it will stop. Thanks for responding.

i agree there must be a format introduced for opening a discussions either with minimum and maximum number of words or else because there is a lot number of discussion ambigious not clear for every one

I don't think it's asking too much for a poster to take the time to write out a topic that explains the post content, it certainly makes things easier on people who don't have hours and hours to sit and read every thread!

Exactly my point. We are all here taking the time, and then someone just starts some idiotic topic just to get responses. I mean if you start a discussion called "girl" that has no other explaination, how are we supposed to understand.

well i think if you dont know the topic then dont participate just skip to the next instead of giving one word reply to them

I don't give one word responses, I never said I did. In fact, I report that to mylot as well because it is very irritating to me, and I know mylot wants good quality discussions..so I aware them of the people doing it. Thanks for responding.

I agree. A lot of people dont write description because they want to make the most post possible and not lose their time.

I love the ones where the topic is "??" Okay, what are we discussing here? Questions? What is the question? hehe thanks for responding

well its very simple you just have to write 2-3 lines about the words you understood in the topic and that will do....there is nothing like that you won't be paid....u will be paid but less as compared to good discussions

Until mylot decides to delete the discussion because it does not meet the guidelines. Then my ratings will lower and I will lose the earnings I got from it. No thanks! I'd rather respond where I know my hard work will be kept and rewarded. Thanks for responding.

Except for those who are just out to make a penny and could care less, lots of mylot users are from other countries where English is not the native language. It is cool that they are excited about practicing English. Many illegal immigrants in our own country can't even speak English! Anyway, the only downside is that some of the posts are difficult to read.

Its not possible for anyone to understand everthing in the world, so better go to the next topic which you can understand instead of breaking your head over something which you dont understand...does that sound ok?

well, do you open the post already?? Or you only read the topic list??Sometimes they only want to make their topic look cool from the outside to invite more guest. Anyway, dont bother just because you dont understand it, skip it... And ones more, never reply any topic that you think it is junk, you'll be sorry ^^
