Is NBA still popular?

NBA is still very popular around here. we have our annual yahoo Fantasy NBA games, lotsa fun!

what is NBA ?

I would say that it's a little less popular in the USA (but not by a whole lot)... there's just no really good story lines going right now. With Jordan it was always Jordan and the Bulls, and with Magic/Larry it was Celtics/Lakers, Black/White, etc... let's face it. Now we're trying to pit D Wade/Lebron, etc, but nothing that grown as big as what those were. Worldwide, I would say the NBA is much more popular and is illustrated, but the fact that we have so many international players coming over to play in the NBA these days.

Then NBA still has a lot of fans but not as much as they use to i think its because you have fewer top notch players and a lot of young players now don't work on thier game the way players years ago did.

NBA is still popular here, everyone tries to emulate the young generation of players like D-Wade, LeBron and co. I guess the NBA doesnt have good rivalries like they had in the past, and there's no one dominant team that people would love or hate, like the Celtics Lakers Pistons Bulls of the past. For a while there was the Lakers with Kobe and Shaq. The past few seasons we had different teams win the championship.

I think that it is still popular, but not as popular as in the past. You know, the time with Michael Jordan is the best time of NBA, a lot of people start to notice basketball because of Michael Jordan, and I am one of them! If NBA wants to become popular again, I think that some great players should appear in this stage, so that it can attract more people to pay attention to. What do others think?

Here in my country basketball is not very popular. The same situation with NBA. Football is more popular. It's the most popular of all sports I think.
