I have started 18 discussions so far and all but 1 has received some response but only one has a large number of responses. I think one of the factors is that there are so many discussions, that some just get lost in the rush of people responding and starting discussions. Oh well, it is fun and I still respond to other discussions and am enjoying it. :)

Oops I forgot to add that when I start a discussion I give a 'best response' to someone within a short time after the responses start coming in plus I give a positive (+) to others who have made quality posts. Similarly I also give positive (+) to other discussions if I think the discussion itself or the responses are worthy of being acknowledged for the quality. :)
