How many of you support Abortion?

well i feel that every 1 should have that choice! especially in america, where we r a land of choices! if one person is pro-life why force ur beliefs on every 1 else. a baby b 4 3 mos is not considered human, it does not have the organs a human has!

Abortion is a necessity. There's no argument there. I may not like it, but it's needed. There are cases where giving birth to a child is not an option. There are dozens of conditions in which carrying a child to term can cripple or kill a woman. There are thousands of women raped, young girls who've just hit puberty who can't physically or emotionally handle carrying a child. These people don't have the option of adoption. They have no choice but to terminate the pregnancy. Can you honestly justify forcing a twelve year old girl who's been raped by her father to carry that baby to term? How can anyone justify that? If you use religious backing, well, God has decreed that those who practice incest and the children of incest are to be killed. Besides that, women will forever be seeking abortions. They always have and they always will. Better they get them in a sterile environment by a trained doctor than in a back alley from some sicko with a pair of unsterilized scissors.

Abortion here in America is a legal choice. IMO it's a choice that should remain legal. Women have a right to safer abortions over having them in back alleys by anyone with a pocket knife.

abortion should be made legal as our earth in a small period of time will be so much over crowded that we would even have no place to walk.

Abortion is thankfully legal in the US. I do not feel it should be done away with & I do not feel that an embryo is a "life". Carrying a pregnancy & raising a child are both major commitments, and life altering experiences. They are not things that should be entered into lightly, because of a lack of choice or as some sort of punishment for 'being irresponsible' (as so many PLers are fond of saying) . Having a child for any reason other than to give unconditional love & acceptance is wrong.

well if the mother cannot afford the baby...then abortion is the only way

I personally disagree 100% with abortion but feel a woman should have a choice. A baby is a precious gift
