You have barbeque on Christmas?

I will say that a few of my friends have had a barbeque at christmas, as well as new years eve.It sounds a great idea to me, as it would be great for my children as I know they would eat it as well as the rest of the family. I also feel that there would be less mess as well as less preperation if we were to have a barbeque, rather than a normal traditional meal.
