Do you and your spouse fight about where to spend the holidays?

I've heard this is one of the biggest sources of conflict between a husband and a wife. Do you fight for example about where to have Christmas?

Not really. My husband is not from the area where I live, and so his family is so far away that there is really no question of going to visit them. Ever. And so there is no fight.

No, both our families live in town so we spend a little time with both of them each holiday. He pretty much leaves it up to me where we're going when.

No, mainly because I have no spouse. I am a single parent by choice (somewhat). There are some advantages to it =)

We have to go so many places . I get really stressed and try not to fight. When we where first together it was hard but now we have it down. There are two stops on christmas eve and 5 christmas day and one usaly that following weekend. We have large families and steo families. Try not to let the stress get to you. Enjoy it as nuch as possible and try to compromise!

No, not about where to spend Christmas or even about how much to spend on gifts. At least, not anymore. Both our parents are deceased and we spend Christmas at our daughter's home. Christmas gifts are pretty much left up to me except for his personal gifts to me and some others. Of course, we have been married nearly 38 years so it wasn't always this way.
