I've followed boxing for years, and Mike Tyson's old training camp is not far from where I live at. I think Tyson's always had problems of his own, and was always a little bit on the crazy side. I think Robin Givens was the girl that seems to have pushed him over the edge a little more. He's always had a reputation, but it wasn't until he became more famous, and Robin too, that it all started hitting the newspapers more. We probably just haven't heard of all the other stuff he used to get do, and get into, before Robin came along. Maybe he got rope-a-doped one too many times in his life...gotta be hard taking all those knocks to the head during his career. I do think his rising fame (during the Robin Givens years) made him even more egotistical and added to his problems.
