I Think I'm the Last Republican Who Still Likes the Dixie Chicks...

I mean, what did they do that hasn't already been done by countless musicians before? From the earliest days of music, it was used as a means of speaking out for and against government officials. As a Right leaning Republican, who loves Rock, Folk and Country, I learned a long time ago that the musicians I like aren't always going to see things my way. So they insulted my president in Germany? Whoopie!!

i still like the dixie chicks regardless of what was said about the president.i like the way they sound,their music,and they seem like really nice women.

You're not alone. I'm also a Republican, and I absolutely love the Dixie Chicks. I could care less what they said about the president. Their views on politics do not affect their musical ability, and I think they have a great deal of talent.
