Any ideas for unique wedding favors to provide to my guests?

Hi there... my wedding is in the summer(July 28, 2007). It is a garden style outdoor wedding with many flowers. We are setting up a tent incase the weather is bad.
Regarding the wedding favors... I am looking for some unique but practical ideas. So often the favors are thrown in the garbage. I would like mine to be more than tossing cash in the garbage so I am asking for your wonderful ideas.

We gave these really pretty voltive candles in glass holders with our names and wedding date inscribed on them. They were very pretty and not as expensive as you would think. I have been to my friends houses and i know that they still have them.

Hehe, seeing them is a bonus... I was looking at some of them and wondering about it. I personally like them, but was wondering if anyone else would. I'll look into that one further.
