Was Jesus living in India for couple of years...?

I have heard that Jesus was living in India for couple of years. Is that true or do you know more about it? also i have heard that in the christian history there is a gap of time in his life story and some believe that he spent this time in India. I'm not a christian but i respect Jesus and his teachings... any comments.???
