They Made it after hard effort & We get it after Less Effort (Piracy/Cracking) Those High Qualified Programmers make software & less qualified programmers crack it & sell it @ low price. So what are the reasons We are making Pirates copy of Software/Windows. This is not only with Microsft, I never purchased a software in my whole computing life but i have all software registered installed in my PC. While A Great Operating System (Linux) is free so why microsoft is trying to sell their buggy Operating system (Windows) to us????The reason i figure out is why people do piracy is... Just one. Software is Expensive. Most of Us use Pirates copy of Windows, So are you With Piracy or do you think that they deserve to made Money with their Softwares???Comments Please...

Piracy is fine for Music to me. IF you were a true artist, you wouldnt care if people wanted to listen to your music bad enough to not pay for it. And if You were any good, then you'd get money when people came to see your shows. But Piracy for software companies is a little different. that software is the only way money is made for these companies.

Software Piracy does not actually harm software companies. It benefits them. Now, at first, this theory may seem wrong to you, but I will explain. Suppose Microsoft Windows was developed in the USA at a cost of 10 million dollars. Then, they sell the software at 50 dollars. Now, 50 dollars is not that much amount in the US and other western countries. And also, if you buy it for 50 dollars, you get free updates. So, most of the people there don't mind buying it for 50 dollars. But in countries like India, Pakistan, and other subcontinent countries and in Africa, 50 dollars is a lot of money. So when they sell it here, not many people buy it. Most of them download pirated copies. Now, if there was no piracy, almost all the people here would never have used Windows. They would have straightaway used Linux which is opensource and free. That way Microsoft would have lost a huge market. But since, pirated copies are available, people use them and some people who have the money, after seeing that windows is a good software, they buy it. So, atleast Microsoft earns some revenue from here also. That is my theory. I believe that it is under the control of software giants to control piracy. But they silently support it, because it helps them in establishing their strongholds in other countries. Also, I would like to give an example. Apple Inc. which produces the Macintosh does not suffer from any piracy problems. But still their profits every year are much lesser that those of Microsoft which has been a victim of piracy. Now think about it yourself....

software piracy can be stopped just only making the users improve them ethically.
