Christian love is difficult to understand because it involves something more than human relationships. Another factor, God, has to be considered, not just as an addition to the human equation, but as the very basis of human relationships. The love of God not only takes precedence over finding oneself in another, but fundamentally alters both the nature of the self and the other.. This begs the question, of course, as to who or what God is or why human affairs should requre this kind of outside itnerference, but this would be a much larger inquiry thatn can be undertaken her.The task of this chapter is to identify what is distinctive about christian love..

I love this passage. It is what should Christian love should be."Love is patient and kind.it is not jealous or conceited or proud.love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;love does not keep a record of wrongs;love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth.Love never gives up and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.Love is eternal."We should be aiming for an eternal life with Jesus as our savior.

All i can tell you is how i interpret god in my life, and how i try to live. I am a Catholic but have never read the bible because my view is that you should try to live your life treating others as you would want to be treated, and not judge others based on their colour, race etc.. I do believe in an afterlife and apart from that i'm not sure. I may not be a good practicing Catholic, but i'd rather be a better person..:)

chair of wheels - chair of wheels
Today I was in the prĂ¡ia with my cousin when we saw a woman with a deficient boy in a chair of wheels. When seeing the scene in we ask them on the love of God for the human being. On the same love that made God to give its only son for the humanity. I ask myself: It will be that the love of God for the that person of the chair of wheels, was so grating that allowed it to live of this form? She will be that a person has that really to pay for the sins of its parents or ancestor? I ask, that love is this so great that it allows that IT makes as many things thus. I think that today we love the God very why We need to love It, but I do not know if this love is reciprocal, therefore I desire not to have a BAD God in my life. I always believed that God is LOVE and you, where believes?

Christian love is beyond human understanding. If you have God in your life as your personal friend and saviour you will find out that loving others is made easy through the help of the Holy spirit. Gal 5:22 says the Holy spirit produces in us such as...Love. God is love and when you have a relationship with Him he starts to help you to even love your enemies

First we are made of God's love, Gos is not an outside interference because He should be inside of us, He wants the best for us. It's like when we take care of a dog, why do we need to have one? To be an object of love, we have the option not to have but we choose to have. We are affected whatever happens to our loving dog, and on the dog's side, he do so many things to please his master, even when you kick them, they will persistently go back to our side, that's love. As a Master, He wants all the good things for His people.

I think you are right because God's love is beyond human relationship and ordinary understanding. God is love (John 4:16)and God himself is the basis of love in that He gave His only begoten son for us as an attonement for our sins (Jon 3:16). Jesus Himself comented on this kind of love that a man can give his life for his friends (John 15:13). This is the kind of love that christianity preaches. this kind of love can make sacrifice untill there nothing more to sacrifice. In one of Jesus' teaching, He (Jesus) summarized all the laws just into two based on love. He commanded us to love the Lord our God with the whole of our hearts, our souls, spirit and strenght. He also commanded us to love our neighbours as ourselves. Loving one's neighbours as one's self means you wouldn't do what you would not take to your fellow human being (luke 10:27). That is to say you should do to others as you would them do unto you! If you love the God's way, you wouldn't do anything to hurt the feelings of your fellow human beings; you wouldn'r keep malice or bad record, you wouldnt' think of evil to anyone. Really, this kind of love is difficult but God himself helps our infirmities so we can always grow in love. In the library where I once worked, there was a short caption on the circulations desk which reads " we not only preach love here, we act it as well". I think this should be our aims everday. I mean making love our aims each and everytime we have the opportunity to see the light of the day. Check www.bible.com for the bible verses. all citations are from KJV.

ifa christan is judging you two, then in my opinion they're not real christans. are told not to judge.i'd just ignore them.they dont deserve the time of day. if you two are happy then just forget them besides, love should be the thing that really matters, not what religion you two are.
