Who gets heroic welcome in your town/village/city?

Waving handkerchiefs, cheering the hero, presenting with flower boquoets, shaking hands, taking the autographs?
I waited for 6 hours in the crowd to have a glimple of Mrs. Indira Gandhi one of the famous Prime Ministers of India. Can you tell your experience please?

In 1950's and 1960's, head of the nation used to get heroic welcome. But now, for people in villages and town, it is the great cinema actor is the hero and he gets the heroic welcome.
