My sister-in-law is about 8 weeks pregnant. She thought she miscarried. Went to the toilet and filled it with lots of blood....on 2 seperate occassions. She's seen a doctor and still hears the heartbeat of the baby. Anyone experience such a thing? Did everything go okay for the baby? Please share....

My cousin is currently losing while pregnant, she went to the doctoers and she had one of them 'stronger scans' I don't know the name of it, but it's no the normal one you get when you go for the check up, they told her the baby's heartbeat was very strong and there was nothing to worry about, although be cautious because she has had a miscarriage herself before.

my partner is a nurse she said it is common but as long as there is no cramping or clotting there is no cause for alarm but see your doctor .we had our first child she spotted blood then he is 8 years old now so its not all that harmful good luck

Yes, and it is NORMAL. I had this and so did a friend of mine. After you are a few weeks pregnant your body sheds ths the excess uterine lining. As long as you don't get cramping or a high fever, it is harmless. If you do, you should go the emergency room. If you are miscarrying there isn't much they can do for you except to help ensure that you don't die from it.
