The Matrix Movies

Nothing will be as good as the original Matrix, but I think fans expected far too much when it came to the second and third installments. I rather enjoyed both of them, and thought it was a well-rounded trilogy when everything was said and done. I don't feel that they ruined anything, but making the sequels took away some of the mistique that surrounded the first one.

I agree,I liked the first one better also,sometimes when they do sequels to movies they go to far,they need to stick to what what it was that made their first movie so popular and built from that,by going in different direction, it changes what got your attention in the first place.maybe they should have made the first movie and left it along.

Yes, you are right, fisrst one was the best and then the story and creativity just went down as we progresses to next part. I think two was also better but as the things were already seen in part one so they don't look as appealing as in first parts. The only thing that was better in next two parts were Monica Balluchi

YES! The first one was definitely the best one. With sequels, we often have expectations, and they will either live up to it or be pretty bad. Sometimes I just wish they'd leave well enough alone . . . these second or third (or more) movies just ruin the whole image for me. I will say I do love the Matrix soundtracks - that gets me in the Matrix "mood"! Happy new year(s)!

I liked the 3rd part most. It had all the suspense and the result. First part was just a introduction and nothing more than that.I liked the fighting of ATP units in the zyan city.
