ragging should it really be completely banned?????????????

to all those who do not know what ragging means it means that to subject to a teasing esp., in an intense or prolonged way by the seniors in the college to the juniors honestly i have been a junior and i wasnt done any ragging and it did help me cos i got away with all the ambarassing situations but it also had a negative effect that we had no communication with our seniors and could not get any help from them and had to face a lot of problems in xams and all so now becoming a senior i am catching every junior and talking to him trying to communicate with him and helping him what do you have to say about???????? it and do you think ragging should be banned?????????
