Dollars Vs Your country's currency

When you talk about the $ (dollar) are we talking Australian dollar, US Dollar, Euro dollar, Namibian dollar, East Caribbean dollar, Singapore dollar, Solomon Islands dollar, Trinidad and Tobago dollar, Zimbabwean dollar. Since this site is used by people from all over the world I would think we have to make sure we know what we are talking about. :)

hey i am from india in india one dollar is equivalent to 47 rupees approximatley. it varies about 10 paise to 50 paise that is rate would be in the range of 46-48

In the Philippines 1USD is equivalent to around 48-50 pesos. Here in the UK a dollar is equivalent to 0.48-0.50 pence. Its not a lot here really in the UK cos the equivalent is almost half of the amount of dollars.

Hello! I am from Philippines but at the moment I am in Thailand. At the moment $1 is equivalent to 35 Thailand Baht. And in Philippines $1 is 49 pesos.
