Lumbini Park, where the Buddha Gautama borned 2500 years ago

I haven't but I know about Lumbini and Gautam Buddha. There is the palace in which he was born near a pond and the whole area has been renovated recently, as you said, as the Lumbini Park. The Ashoka Pillar there, erected by King Ashoka, states that Gautam Buddha was born there about 2500 years ago.
