I know all about this from experiance. I guess it would vary of course deoending on what religions you both practice, and how you choose to practice. However, Both my husband and I believe very differnt things when it comes to religion. On the dayd to day life we have no problems. I do not preach to him he does not down my belifs and we are both happy. However there has been a few times when we have had problems due to our religious differances. I wanted to get married by a preist in a church, he did not want this. So we had to compermise which I was fine with because when you love someone you compermise. We got married outside by a pastor of an differnt religion. Not all of my family where happy with this however I was and so was he and so it was okay. We are curently trying to have a baby and so we are not sure what we will do about our child. I want to baptise it and he does not. I do not know what we will do but we will work it out because we love each other and that is what matters. God would want us to be with the one we love. Do not let differances stand in your way embrace them.

Nice to know you but I am from Sri Lanka. Though I married a Tamil, I am a Sri Lankan. But I dont think it would make any difference for us to be friends.

if the ones who r getting married care for their respective religions too much..it might become a problem..but if both of them or evenone of them r ready to make compromises, religion wont be a prob at all

I am not against a marriage that has more than one religion, but I think the couples need to agree and understand that each other has their own beliefs, and be able to respect each other for it.

For me religion is important. I respect other religion, but I want to be married to someone who shares the same faith and beliefs that I do, so we can have that prayer and worship time together.

Religion does matter in marriage, but it's not a big problem as long as the couple can tolerate each other. I quite open about different religion marriage
