Does anyone else have trouble dealing with the "New Woman"?

I still cannot speak to my ex's girlfriend face to face, or even on the phone. I have yet to meet her or even see her other than her sitting in a vehicle. She tore up my family & I just cannot bring myself to speak to her civily.

Met her, no big loss. Not impressed. As I have said before, just laugh and think "once a cheater, always a cheater". She will be in your shoes soon enough.

It sounds like this woman started the relationship with your ex while y'all was still together. Right? If so you have every right not to want anything to do with her. Just dont tell your kids to hate her or anything. Even though, chances are when your kids get bigger they are going to relise what happened in will more then likely harbor some resentment towards her for it.

You are correct in tha their relationship started while we were still together, had been married for over 5 years. I have tried very hard to be careful not to say negative stuff about her to my daughter. But they are now planning to get married in September, so I know that she will be around, at least for a while, so it seems inevitable that I will have to deal with her some time or other. I just cannot bring myself to face her....and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to.
