Ionia is a county and a town in Michigan. It's located in the lower peninsula near Lansing. My opinion of Ionia is that it has an awful lot of prisons for one little town. My favorite thing is the Ionia Free Fair (which is not free, by the way). It's lots of fun for the kids. One of the worst things is that the river that runs through Ionia floods every year. I grew up near Ionia, actually.
