What do you do to choose lottery numbers?

Do you use a quickpick/autopick?
Do you use birthdays?
Do you put numbers in the bottom of a cage and let your bird poop all over it?

I do play it once in awhile and I use dates of births, and ages to select my numbers. I have never won though.
