I am interested in acquiring as much information as possible regarding money saving techniques. Could you please share the ways that you save money? The ways that you save can be on just about anything, but I am specifically looking on ways to save on household goods and services. Thank you in advance for your responses.

I bought a small space heater about a year ago and it really saves on my gas bill. My electric bill didn't go up that much either with it. But gas here is so expensive. Then I go to the dollar store and buy all my sponges, dish soap, hand soap, paper toweling, cleaning supplies etc... They have just as good of stuff that I buy from the grocery store but the good thing is it is only a dollar versus more at the grocery store. My husband drinks a lot of soda and I don't drink any so I started saving the cans and turning them in for extra cash when they are offering higher prices and we can some times make about 100 extra dollars on that. I just wash the cans out and store them in the garage until I take them in.
