No sorry, a little misunderstanding. mtorrent is utorrent. Just because it's not a "U" but a "mi", a letter from Greek alphabet (=M). have a nice day.

well there are basically many torrent clients....i use the so called best 3 of them... the first i used was Azeurus..hmmm i think this is the heaviest torrent client ever designed...by heaviest i mean...the one which consumes more number of resources...it basically built on java....which uses a lot of ram... for this reason i have changed to bit comet and found that its is much better than azeurus....i takes l;ess ram and other resources....but we need to make sure that the settings are correct ..especially "maximum number of half connections" it should be set to maximum as possibl;e generally ot ll be set for 50..the problem one faces if this is not set to maiximum is the even though there are many seeds the speed that u get is limited..... and then i cam to know about Utorrent/..man i shud tel u this is the lightest torrent client i have ever came across....it hardlay takes any resources...amd i am impressed...nut here also v need to take care about max number of peers for a torrent....this should be max as possible.... i am impressed with both u torrent and bitcomet.....now i am using both of them parallely...but if i have to choose between bitcomet and u torrent i wud choose utorrent only...coz of its lightness

uTorrent is clearly the best and most well-known torrent software. Well, it uses less system resources. In my experience, I get the best download speeds and thats's keeping my upload speed limits.

I got to agreed bitcomet is mush of a hassle to use since the newer version are causing so much errors during the installations. But if you were an avid user of bitcomet and you wanted to stick it that you might want to try version 0.59 or below because I have been using that and its problem free. good luck

I have been a fan of the Bittorrent network since it started and I have tried many torrent clients. Azureus is one of the best with lot of features, nicely backed up by communities, lots of plugins available on the net and is widely accepted by all the trackers. But Azureus is slow in loading and uses lot of system resources. Bitcomet is a very good client giving decent speeds and dont use up as much resources as Azureus. But some trackers banned this client because it does not correctly report share ration which is bad to the peer 2 peer community. Utorrent is the best client ive come across so far. It gives very good speed although the speed depends also on which torrent you are downloading. Its extremely lightweight and runs with lowest resources ive ever seen in any client. One -ve point about it is that its not open source. some of other good clients are ABC and bittornado.

I think BitComet is the best torrent client out there.I never faced any problem while using BitComet and the speed I get is really nice..I am having 256 kbps connection and I usually get 28-30 KB/s..while using utorrent I donot get nice speed I get struck in the speeds of around 5-10 KB/s even trying all setting and also port forwarding..

I've used both. With Bitcomet, it's easier to find torrents because there's a built in web browser in it. With uTorrent, it's not as easy, but still fairly efficient. You can just browse for torrents in your regular browser (e.g IE, Firefox) and then it will be downloaded by uTorrent. Plus, uTorrent also takes up the least amount of space. Only 25 kB on your hard drive! Still don't know how to maximise the download speed, though.
