Earning probelm

You need to look closer at the quality of the discussion, and if you accidently started a thread that has been started before or not. Do a search on Mylot Tips, and be sure to read any MyLot alerts you recieve. The MyLot pay also varies from day to day as well. Somedays it is not much, others days it is alot. Just like any other fluctuation of how well a site is doing one day to the next... The earning average is 1-3 cents a reply. I am not sure the amount for starting discussions, comments, or ratings... It also depends on the quality of what you had wrote, and the discussion you replied too. Better, discussion, bring better earnings... And if you responded to posts that were deleted that does not count in your earnings, or if someone you responded to was removed and all their posts were as well... For starters look for people with the higher ratings and respond to their discussions at first to get a feel of what kind of topics that does better on mylot. Then go fo the zero responces discussions, or do topic searches, or down the profile lists and respond, to things you can really talk about. Welcome to mylot. I am not a mod by the way but I really enjoy mylot. It will not make you rich, but it surely will help you out.. if you put in alot of work, and try to best as good quality posts and responces. I have found that the problem here is you want to earn more so you wanted to post more. Don't you think that the site is made for the people who wants to discuss something with someone with a kind intention to help. Not to ask someone just to reply with a yes or no, and not just to create a bunch of nonsense paragraphs just to say that you have actually made a "Quality POST." I just thought that if you came here in this site for money and not for the fun and willingness to help, maybe you are in the wrong place. I think you've overseen the true purpose of this site. I am not having arguement wiht everyone but please do understand. Just enjoy helping other people around and you will probably see the real benefit of this site for you. Thank you all myLot users!

really shocked to know about it. but may be due to some changes in mylot system also it happens like that for some time but u dont need to worry for the just keep posting some good posts and u will be alright with your earnings ,.

The other day, I made about 150 posts and about $1.91.

It also depends on the quality of your post. Quality over quantity. Writing a lot seems quite good, but it's not always the best way of doing things. I've also noticed that, depending on the day, you may earn a lot more than you would have on others. Possibly today (being Christmas day) you might earn a lot. Who knows!

Wow.. u actually track all your posts? Gasp! I think I need to start tracking my posts too.. I have been posting and so far, 23 posts have only earned me $0.76, which means that each post was only worth $0.03!! How much are the posts suppose to be worth? I don't understand why myLot never shares the actual algorithm with us so that we can be sure how to make great posts and great money?

Actually i also dont know how mylot system determine how much we have for our posting. But depend on their rules, more quality of our posting, either posting in response or posting in topic discussion, we will get earning more from mylot. You had posted 25 posts and 1 topic, why you not giving more topic discussion in your posting? My suggest, please try to post about 5 or more topic discussion (in good quality and originally) in your 25 posts. You will see the different of your earning :)

some people may have given you a "-" some of your posts may have been deleted the scripts calculations may have corrected a mistake the site may have made less money so each post gets less money there are a number of other reasons thing like that can happen

im not sure how things work anymore, it is like one day you get paid for people responding to your post then others you dont, some days you get paid for repsond to others i just can not figure it out anymore.

yeah, the same thing happened here. but I do not care a lot about it. since we do not know the criteria of earning money.so it is hard for us to say if it is right or wrong. just post and enjoy.

Yeah, I've got same problem with you. I've made about 40 posting but I only got $0.17 for all. Next day, I tried to make all my posting very desciptive. I tried to make at least 3 lines every post. And that work for me. Or maybe some people rate your post negative because your answer quality. Although it's very long answer. All you must to do make sure you always make quality posting and will rate positive to your answer or discussion. That's better is people select your post as the best answer. Like my earning yesterday, I got $0.75 for 30 posting. It's make me very happy.

well i m confused myself.. i use to think that $ is reflected after a day.. BUT your case confirms that its not the caes

I think this will help too. Not all earnings are calculated exactly at 24 hours. Mine have been up to 36hours between updates. Some posts were deleted and my earnings went down too. There is no fast rule on the amount for each reply or post. You also get a litter more if you reply gets best response.

the quality of the posting is very important. Somethimes I cant understand it also. Somethimes I got more money than other days. It is hard to say.

Its hard to understand sometimes but i think it varies on quality of the discussion you respond to and the quality of your answer? Its quite complicated and i dont completly understand it eithr.

Quality of writing as well as relevency with the topic is very important for posting a response. At the same time the content should be original and thought-provoking! Thanks.

There is different system for india. the money gets collected into ur mylot account after 24 hours, the money is counted for all posts which are before 12 ' o clock the same ting occurs with me, but day by day i learn more about mylot earning algorithm.

i really didn't kow that. I though you just got one cent per post.
