They sure are a beautiful. I thought I would share with you my other notes I had taken in science class extra credit about the Alaskan Malamute. Thanks for sharing a picture and I hope you enjoy this little type up from my notes. ------------- The Alaskan Malamute is one of the oldest Artic sled dog breeds, and was natived for the Innuit tribe called the Mahlemute (currently called Malamute.), who were settlers from the the upper western part of Alaska along the shores of Kolzbue Sound. The origin of these dogs are unknown other than they have been around for many generations. When the White man discovered them in Alaska they bred these Artic breed with outside breeds to increase their speed, to be used in racing sports, and later their popularity reknewed interest in breeding purebred malamutes. They are known to be clean, oderless, loyal, intelligent, nd affectionate towards their owner, although they are fighters among other dogs, and they don't bark. So during training firm handling, is necessarily.. Thier usual colors range from light gray through the intermediate shadings to black, always with white underbodies, parts of the legs, feet, and part of mask markings. Their average weight in females is 7 pounds, and in males it 85 pounds. Their average height in females is 23 inches and in males is 25 inches. I typed this up out of old notes I had taken in highschool. - DNatureofDTrain
