I'm sure I could find you a ton of Alaska pictures. I live in Wasilla, about 40 minutes north of Anchorage. I was born here. We moved when I was 5 and then moved back when I was 13. And I am staying for the rest of my life. I love it here.

Welcome to myLot 5berries. I miss Alaska a lot. I bet it has really changed since I was last there in 85. We used to have a cabin on Nancy Lake, you are pretty close to there if I remember correctly. Which hospital were you born at? I was born at Providence in 1965. LOL

I see you all talking about these places and I hate to say it I get a little jealous. I wish I could remember more places from my time up there. The only place I have a clear memory about is the cul-de-sac that we lived in on base. I would live for my son to see th snow fields, 12-14 ft. tall moose, big horned sheep and of course the polar bears. I just have to find the money to take about a month vacation up there.

That is about the time I left Alaska. I was born and raised there. We lived in Anchorage, but my father was a real outdoorsman and a commercial fisherman. I used to have many many pictures, but now only a few are left, due to some unfortunate circumstances. I'd be happy to help. I will post a few on the Alaska page for you. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them, if I can. Do you remember where you went when you were there...or a description? What time of year did you go? Again, I will help if I can. Happy New Year to you and yours.

I don't remember much at all, we left when I was between three and four. We lived on the air base outside of fairbanks. Of the few things I remember my favorites are the snow fields(before the moose trample them), the midnight baseball game we went to, and a "thundersnow", I hope I never forget that one.

Were you eve able to see the "arora borealus"? The Northern Lights as they are called are really spectacular. They even dance more if you whistle at them. Where do you live at now?
