Ever work for yourself?

I had the traditional lawn mowing business when I was about 14. I was thinking back on how much I made and how long it took me to make that small amount(i figured it to be around $.25per hour). I was wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I had a housekeeping business, I made more like 15.00 an hour. Of course I was older and that made it a bit different for me.

Yes, I work for myself currently. It takes a lot of hard work and patience to make money sometimes, but with a little persistence, it is quite possible.

I guess it was just a case of not knowing how long it would take to mow certain lawns, and a little naive as to what to charge.
