Well christmas is over (in Australia at least) Does anyone have any special plans for the New Year? We plan to get some fireworks and have a quiet time at home with the kids.

I hope you have a great time. I plan to stay home with hubby, and make some yummy dinner and snacks. Don't like to leave on the roads with all the drunks. Happy New Years.

I have the same opinion. There are way too many fools on the road on new years eve. I'll probably be slack and go to bed early anyway.

That sounds like fun. I love going to festivals and things that have free entertainment. You can relax on a picnic rug and people watch. Have a great time!

My husband and I are going next door New Years Eve to spend it with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons, then New Years Day, as little as possible I hope. I woke up with a cold Christmas morning and really could use some rest.

Are you asking about the New Year or about the New Year Eve. In any case I haven't any special plan. No special plan for 2007 and no special plan for New Years Eve. Last Year I was, for the New Year Eve, I was in front of the Opera House in Sydney and still I remember that. It was a wonderful night!Happy New year!

My boyfriend has to be at work at 6am the following day so this year we won't be doing anything special. I'll probably get some chips and dip or some other good munchies. And I will probably be alone when the ball drops. I was invited to two parties but because of my boyfrined not being able to go, I won't go either. We will probably make a special dinner on New Years Day but I don't know what yet. Happy New Year!

That sounds good. It doesn't matter how you spend the time as long as it is with someone you love!

Going 3 hours north to brother in laws place. Have no idea what we are doing when we get there. But havn't seen them in a while. I think they are starved for family contact... They are welcoming us with open arms... lol
