World Relegions: Have they failed?

There so many religions in the world. some are universal why others are local or traditional in nature. we have lots and lots of them.: Taoism, conficianism, judaism, budhaism, Sango, Obatala, grail message, hindu, jews, islam and christianity only to mention a few. Within each religion, there exists sects and denominations. But what have all these got to offer to world peace and the stability of this mother earth? Virtually all religion based their teachings on love and peace but what do we see? Wars, fightings for superemacy acrimony, and all sort of evils. Killing blood she everywhere, hunger and political unrest in virtually all the continents of the wolrd, poverty abounds everywhere while only about 10% of the worl population live in extream affluence. Is there no solutions to all this problems? Is the God that we all claim to worship happy with all the innocent blood being shed everyday? Is there any way out to the failure of all the religions to usher in peace into the world? what do you think?
